The first step is forming your business, usually as a sole-proprietorship, partnership, or Limited Liability Company (LLC). The steps to do this vary depending on your state. Once you legally form your business and get any required licenses/insurance policies, you’ll set up your bank account, website, social media, and growth strategy. I need help with bookkeeping but I’m not ready to outsource yet. Can you still help?

Of course! We want to ensure every business is properly set up with the right tools and resources needed to keep their finances in order. When you’re just starting out, you can use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (free), and as you grow, you can switch to a bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or Xero.
